The German indie-pop band WEITMEER will release their new single "Only Good Vibes" on June 23rd, 2023, which is an ode to happiness and the lightness of life.

"Only Good Vibes" is a mix of modern beats and retro-inspired 90's synths reminiscent of American greats like Harry Styles and The 1975. The lyrics describe the constant urge for good feelings and the difficulty in ignoring the negative aspects of the world. The band deals with the emotional world of a young generation that longs for lightness and carelessness in times of war, inflation and increasing lack of prospects.

WEITMEER is one of the up-and-coming bands in the German indie pop scene. Since their debut in March 2022, they have achieved more than 100,000 streams with their song "Do you know what" and released their first EP "Television". They have been nominated for the renowned Rio Reiser Song Prize and made it into the top 20 of the Warsteiner Band Contest for a gig at Rock am Ring. They wowed their audience in particular with their positive energy and their rousing live performances, as they were able to demonstrate as co-headliners on the main stage of the Bielefeld Leinewebermarkt 2023 in front of none other than Alice Merton.

With their new single "Only Good Vibes" WEITMEER want to delight their fans and put a smile on their faces after a half year break without new releases. The song will be available on all popular streaming platforms from June 23, 2023.
